The village is visited by many tourists during the summer months, as Peyreleau is a particularly beautiful village with its stone houses built into the hillside near the Gorges du Tarn. The house is often rented out during the summer months providing a small additional income.
It is 30km drive to Millau town, which is one of France's principle centres for outdoor sports (rock climbing, paragliding, hanggliding, kayaking) and now famous for its spectacular viaduct. The scenery around is stunning, especially the Tarn, Dourbie and Jonte gorges which are just a short drive away.
The autoroute takes you from Millau to Montpellier and the sea in 1 hour. Rodez airport is just over an hour away.
